Debbie Arakaki plans, executes and succeeds with thoughtfulness and a desire to help people - talents that have propelled her to be a successful in business and her personal life. Combined with straightforward advice, Debbie brings wisdom and dedication to her craft that truly benefits her real estate clients.
Born and raised on Oahu, Debbie moved to Maui with husband Gary in 1986 to start Mr. Sub, a sandwich shop and catering business. While the Arakaki's grew Mr. Sub to five additional West Maui locations, their passion grew for another type of business- music. They developed and grew Lahaina Music into a successful business before selling it in 2005, when Debbie joined Coldwell Banker as a full time realtor.
By 2007 Debbie earned distinction of the "International Presidents Circle", representing the top 3% of sales associates with Coldwell Banker, and garnered the company's "Previews" designation for being in the 10% of sales in the luxury market in her area.

With an eye to new areas being opened up for residential development, the Arakakis purchased land in West Maui. As an owner with first hand knowledge of subdivision and the condominimizing process for homes and lots in the area, Debbie provided valuable input as President of the HOA boards for Mahanalua Nui and Olowalu Mauka as well as a board member over the years.
Ultimately, this first hand knowledge and involvement led her to establish a positive association with the developers of the Launiupoko neighborhood in Mahanalua Nui, West Maui Land. Debbie moved her real estate license to West Maui Land Company, Inc. in March 2009 to work with the developers of the Launiupoko area as well as broaden the services the company provides in the West Maui home sales market.

With just as much enthusiasm for her family as business, Debbie is an involved parent to two active children, Ryan and Casey, and two dogs Pua and Tootsie. Debbie started funding programs for pre-kindergarten programs to help younger children enter into the school system on the right foot. She has also sat on the School Community council for the King Kamehameha III elementary school. As much as Debbie and husband Gary love to travel with the family and explore new places, they are renown for entertaining in the home they designed. Their casual lifestyle is centered around the pool, indoor and outdoor games and the garden Debbie loves to putter in. Veggies from the garden and nearby small farms allows Debbie to express yet another passion- cooking and baking for friends and family.
From family involvement and entertaining to business development and real estate, Debbie Arakaki approaches each passion with understanding and enthusiasm. Buying and selling a home is always and important decision. Debbie has the thoughtful insight to find you the right home, and when you are ready to move on, maximize the return on your real estate investment.
